The big news
Scammers can change their number, but not their script. Wessuwan protects elderly people during the call itself. When an unknown number rings, the caller hears that the line is guarded by AI. Wessuwan transcribes the conversation in real time and checks every sentence for four warning signals: urgency, threats, requests for codes or personal data, and requests for money. If it smells like a scam, it plays a warning inside the call and texts the family, before a code is shared or money moves.

What it does
A real-time scam-call protection prototype that transcribes calls from unknown numbers, flags scam patterns sentence by sentence, plays in-call voice warnings and sends SMS alerts to trusted contacts. Built with Node.js, TypeScript, Express and Socket.IO, with an HTML/CSS/JavaScript front end hosted on Render; the demo includes a mock mode.
