Kids actually want to do their chores when they're quests in a game. SideQuest turns real-life chores, homework and exercise into missions in a hand-drawn pixel RPG village. Parents set quests on a dashboard, villagers hand them out, and when a parent approves a finished quest the child earns XP and gold. Complete every quest of the day and screen time unlocks. Spark, a friendly AI helper, guides the child, with every chat safety-checked. Family life, levelled up.

What it does
A family task app that gamifies chores in a canvas-drawn pixel RPG, with parent approval, rewards and screen-time unlocks. Spark is powered by Claude, with Claude Haiku safety checks and ElevenLabs voices. Built with React, Vite and Convex, deployed on Vercel.
