Feyn
Team Athiphat Saramas
The big news
Students prove they understand an idea by teaching it. Feyn turns the Feynman technique into homework: a student explains a concept out loud to Pip, a curious classroom child. ElevenLabs Scribe transcribes the answer, U-Bot grades each essential concept against the teacher's rubric, and Pip asks about the part it didn't get. Teachers post assignments with a six-character join code, draft rubrics with U-Bot's help and receive a class recap. Hidden learning gaps surface long before exam day, and every student gets a patient listener.

What it does
An education app where students record spoken explanations that are transcribed and graded concept by concept, with follow-up questions from a child persona called Pip. Teachers create courses, assignments and rubrics, with U-Bot used to draft concepts and grade. Built with React, Vite, TypeScript, Express, MongoDB and Zod, using ElevenLabs and Google OAuth, hosted on Vercel.
