The big news

Commuting gets cheaper and greener when empty seats get filled. ALONG connects drivers who have spare seats with passengers heading the same way, so people share journeys instead of adding cars to the road. Drivers offset their travel costs and can earn sponsor-funded rewards, while passengers get more affordable rides. Drivers publish planned trips, passengers search, compare and book, and seat availability updates in real time. It's an early prototype with a big goal: less congestion and fewer emissions on everyday routes.

What it does

An early ride-sharing web app prototype with separate driver and passenger flows for publishing, searching and booking trips. Built with React 19, TypeScript, Vite and Tailwind CSS, with Firebase Firestore and anonymous auth, the Longdo API and hosting on Vercel.
