Alexandria

The big news
Knowledge shouldn't disappear when a platform or government says so. Alexandria is a decentralized digital library preserving banned books on Avalanche and IPFS. Readers search by title or author, filter by the country and scope of a ban, and see each book's documented ban history and public-domain source. Every download is verified against a SHA-256 hash stored on-chain, with automatic fallback to another gateway. Anyone can contribute through a wallet-free upload form, with automated scanning and U-Bot content checks, without revealing their identity.

What it does
A censorship-resistant library storing book files on IPFS via Filebase, with a Solidity registry on Avalanche Fuji holding content IDs and hashes for in-browser integrity checks. Uploads pass automated file, malware and public-domain checks and U-Bot content verdicts. Built with Preact, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, FastAPI, OpenZeppelin and viem.
